At the till
Staff remove hard tags and switch labels off when the customer pays.

At the door
A pair of antennas at the exit sounds the alarm if an active tag passes.
Follow one item from the rail to the exit.
Step 1 · Sales floor
Each tag or label hides a small resonator tuned to one frequency, 58 kHz for AM or 8.2 MHz for RF. It stays on the item while it's on display.

Step 2 · Checkout
A magnetic detacher unlocks hard tags in one motion. A deactivator pad switches soft labels off as they pass over it.

Step 3 · Exit
Two antennas create a detection zone across the exit. They send a signal and listen for any tag that answers back.
Step 4 · Alarm
An active tag answers the gate. Lights flash and the alarm sounds so staff can respond. Paid items pass quietly.
Both stop tagged items at the door. They run on different frequencies, so you pick one and use it for the whole store.

Each listing is a pair of antennas. Choose a finish to see it.

Yes, if the frequency matches. AM 58 kHz tags work with AM gates and RF 8.2 MHz tags work with RF gates. The frequency is usually printed on the tag or its packaging. If it isn't, send us a photo and we'll identify it.
A standard single door usually needs one pair. Double doors and open storefronts may need extra antennas. Send us the width of your entrance and we'll tell you exactly what to order.
A power outlet near the entrance and space to fix the antennas to the floor on each side of the door. Product pages list the dimensions and what's in the box.
Only if you use both kinds of tag. Hard tags need a detacher. Soft labels need a deactivator. Many clothing stores use only hard tags; supermarkets mostly use labels.
